Gallery Libre
Gallery Libre is a publically installed guerilla gallery. The idea is that 4 tiles with some brief information and a nail can re-create the basic intentions of a traditional blue chip gallery. The tiles, UV printed, hold information instructing both artists and collectors how to interact with the space; connecting them to a form to catalog their collection or to register their piece with the gallery. From there, both parties are to be added to an active archive, legitimizing the space further.
The space is intented to be installed theoretically anywhere in the world, giving way for artists to associate and technically show at a legitimate, worldwide gallery. These guerilla Gallery Libre’s are easily reproduceable and customizable.
