Tasked with creating my interpretation of post cards, I created literal postcards with visuals of specfic locations throughout Lower Manhattan. Each card has scanned rubbings or photo depictions of objects and textures that stood out to me after studying these spaces for a specific amount of time.
These postcards were sent to homes, should the location be the residence of family or friends, otherwise they have been kept in my archive. At the back of each letter is a written observation, poem or letter dedicated to the intended location.
